About this tool
How to use the case converter.
What it does. Converts text between UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case and Sentence case without retyping a word.
How to use it. Paste the text, pick the target case, and copy the result. Title Case suits headlines and section titles; Sentence case is the safer default for subheadings in most house styles - check which one your publication uses and standardise.
Why it matters. Retyping a paragraph to fix its capitalisation wastes minutes and introduces typos. A one-click conversion is exact, and exact is the point.
Your data. The tool runs entirely in your browser - text you paste never leaves the page, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
Good to know
Sentence case only fixes the first letter after each sentence end - proper nouns it cannot recognise stay lowercased, so give names and acronyms a final read. Title Case here follows simple style rules, not a specific manual.
Where this fits
Formatting tools are the honest kind of tidy: they change nothing you said, only how it is carried. Run them before proofreading, not after - there is no sense polishing text a cleanup pass is about to reshape, and a clean base makes every later check mean what it says.
